COMP - CERT 2022

A five-day workshop where 29 students learned 21st-century skills, including website building, hosted by NOSFAM and Gen-Z Codes.

Comp-Cert 2022: Empowering Students with 21st-Century Skills

In July 2022, NOSFAM collaborated with Gen-Z Codes, a youth-led initiative founded by Shivani Shrotri, to conduct Comp-Cert 2022—a dynamic five-day workshop designed to introduce students to essential 21st-century digital skills. Held from July 18 to 22, the workshop engaged 29 students from Rajeev Nagar Public School, providing them with a hands-on learning experience in computer literacy, creativity, and digital communication.

The highlight of the program was an exciting website-building module that sparked immense curiosity and enthusiasm among the participants. For many, it was their first exposure to the world of coding and web design—an experience that left them feeling empowered and inspired. The sessions were interactive and joyful, with students participating wholeheartedly in every activity, often with laughter and wide-eyed wonder.

More than just a technical workshop, Comp-Cert 2022 was a stepping stone in NOSFAM’s mission to bridge educational gaps by making future-ready skills accessible to underprivileged students. It also set the tone for several larger, more structured educational initiatives that NOSFAM would go on to implement in the years to come.
