Nanna Kanasu: A Summer of Dreams

In collaboration with our partner NGO, Maitri Arha, NOSFAM proudly volunteered for Nanna Kanasu—a vibrant 11-day summer camp designed to uplift, empower, and inspire underprivileged children. Guided by the belief that dreams should never be limited by circumstance, this camp created a safe, joyful space for learning, creativity, and self-expression.

From basic karate lessons and expressive art sessions to brain games, dance, and cricket, each day brought new experiences and meaningful interactions. Our volunteers led engaging activities that nurtured confidence, teamwork, and fun—from paper plate crafts and emotional awareness games to energizing exercises, dumb charades, meditation, and more.

The camp culminated in a heartwarming valedictory ceremony filled with music, dance, and reflections from the children themselves—reminding us all why we do what we do. Nanna Kanasu wasn’t just a camp; it was a celebration of possibility, play, and the power of community.
