NOSFAM’s collaboration with the Hemophilia Society of Manipal was a truly unique and impactful experience, designed to support children diagnosed with hemophilia, a rare genetic disorder that affects the blood's ability to clot. Hemophilia causes prolonged bleeding after injuries or surgeries due to insufficient clotting factors, and managing this condition requires immense care and awareness.

Over the course of two days, NOSFAM engaged with these children for two hours each day, focusing on creating a supportive and interactive environment. The activities were designed not only to bring joy and fun but also to promote emotional well-being. NOSFAM’s volunteers organized games, fostering a spirit of camaraderie and team-building. These interactive sessions provided the children with an opportunity to engage with others, reduce the feelings of isolation often associated with their condition, and enjoy a few hours of fun and relaxation.

Beyond just play, NOSFAM’s presence helped build a sense of normalcy and empowerment for the children, as the team interacted with them, listened to their stories, and offered encouragement. These interactions were vital in boosting the children's confidence and reminding them that they were capable of overcoming the challenges they face, both physical and emotional.
